When he’s not producing new content, recording a podcast, or refining SCU’s editorial workflow, he’s usually finding a new way to upgrade his tailgating setup or diving into another Steelers storyline. Joe founded Steel City Underground in 2014 to channel his passion for the Pittsburgh Steelers into something bigger than social‑media debates. In 2016, he expanded the platform to include weekly podcasts, helping SCU grow into a trusted multi‑format destination for Steelers Nation. Outside of Pittsburgh sports, Joe enjoys traveling, movies, and TV — and he brings more than 20 years of soccer officiating experience to the table. He continues to work collegiate matches each fall across multiple conferences throughout Ohio, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and New York.
