The GlowboardTM Scintillator Alignment Tool measures the alignment between the x-ray field and the light field.  The rare-earth phosphor will glow green while exposed to radiation. Misalignment of the light field will clearly be shown down to 0.1 inch on the built in lead-free radiopaque scales. How dark does the room need to be in order to see the phosphor glow?  The darker the better.  The more light in the space, the less you will be able to see the responsive phosphorescent area.
