RanXteR is not a movie database, it is a platform, where you have the chance to rate and rank the movies and series you have watched based on 3+1 aspects. You can create your own personal rank list and get statistical details on the appearance of actors and directors. You can rate the movies and series upon 4 components: overall impact, directing, acting, plus one extra aspect which you can choose from a drop-down menu. Rate the basic concept, the music, the emotions, the length, how authentic the picture is, how humorous a comedy was, how much tension you felt in a drama or thriller for instance, how you found the visual effects (CGI and VFX), was there a real moral lesson you have learnt, is there a twist in the plot, and if so, to what extent, how you like the ending and what is your basic idea of the storyline. You can also optionally write down your personal thoughts and favorite scenes in your own words. RanXteR creates a weighted rating of the points given by the users, and also by yourself. After you have rated the movie or series, you can come back and check the changes in the statistics which have happened since your latest visit. The rank lists can be exported to file with the details of the certain movies.
