Análisis de la app Aprox - a Proxmox VE client para 22 de octubre

Aprox runs your Proxmox VE cluster from your pocket, your iPad and — properly, natively — your Mac. On the Mac it is a real Mac app, built for macOS from the start: a menu bar extra that shows what is running without opening a window, real keyboard shortcuts, and consoles that open as proper resizable windows. The iPhone build is built for the other half of the job: the alert at dinner, the snapshot before the risky upgrade, the container that needs restarting from the train. OPERATE • Start, shut down, reboot, pause, hibernate, reset and stop VMs and containers • Snapshots — take, roll back, delete, with the RAM state if you want it • Back up now to any storage, and see every scheduled job and when it next runs • Clone a guest, full or linked, and migrate one to another node • Cluster and per-node task lists, with full logs and the ability to stop a running task SEE • A cluster-wide dashboard: capacity actually in use, what has been promised to guests, and whether that is a plan or a problem • CPU, memory, disk and network history for every node, guest and storage • Guest agent details — IP addresses, hostname, the OS that is actually running • Node maintenance: pending updates, failed services, disk and SMART health BUILD • Create VMs and LXC containers with guided wizards • Edit the hardware of both — disks, network, CPU, memory, devices — with every pending change listed before you apply it • Browse an appliance template catalog and download straight to a node • Storage browsing, upload, download-from-URL, and restore from any backup • Firewall rules at cluster, node and guest level CONNECT • A built-in VNC console with a real keyboard, plus SPICE and serial • Password, API token, two-factor and custom realm sign-in • Certificate pinning for self-signed clusters, which is most homelabs • Nothing leaves your device: Aprox talks to your cluster and to nobody else. No account, no telemetry, no relay server. LIVE ON YOUR DEVICES • Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and Control Center controls that start a guest without opening the app • Live Activities that follow a migration or a backup to the Lock Screen • Siri and Shortcuts for every power action • Handoff between iPhone, iPad and Mac • Alerts when a node drops, a task fails or a backup does not run TRY IT WITHOUT A SERVER Aprox ships with a complete demo cluster that runs entirely on-device. Nodes, guests, snapshots, tasks, consoles — everything works, nothing is a screenshot. Open it before you type a single credential. APROX PRO The free app browses your cluster and shows you everything above. Pro unlocks the console, guest creation, hardware editing, storage management, snapshots, backups, clones, migration, node maintenance and alerts. Available monthly, yearly or as a one-time lifetime purchase, all with Family Sharing and a 7-day free trial on the subscriptions. Requires a Proxmox VE 7.0 or newer server that you already run. Aprox is an independent client and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Proxmox Server Solutions GmbH. Proxmox is a registered trademark of its owner.
