The app is based on beacon technology. A beacon is a small Bluetooth radio transmitter that automatically connects to the smartphone. These beacons are distributed throughout the exhibition and trigger new content on the smartphone at the appropriate points. Distinctive stickers draw attention to the stations. Challenge: Children and adults also have the opportunity to complete a challenge. The aim is to find ten objects in the exhibition. At the end, the children get a small reward. With headphones into the museum: The use of the app via the device loudspeaker of the smartphone is restricted (reduced volume), therefore headphones are required.
