As you get close to one, FREN calls it out, marks it on the map, and shows the limit there, early enough to slow down smoothly instead of braking hard. ▸ Average-speed zones In supported areas where cameras measure your average speed between two points, FREN recognizes the start and end, shows the limit, tracks your average, and tells you before your average goes over the limit. ▸ Road-hazard reports from other drivers One tap reports a crash or road work, and FREN drivers behind you hear about it before they reach it. Reports are shown as driver reports, not confirmed fact, and expire on their own unless someone confirms them. ▸ Turn-by-turn navigation (Premium) Voice navigation with the camera alerts built in: one screen, one voice. Street and exit names are spoken aloud, and the map draws real buildings as you drive. ▸ CarPlay (Premium) Alerts and directions on the car's own screen, large enough to read at a glance. ▸ Keeps working while you use something else Using another maps app, or just listening to music? The camera database lives on your phone, so alerts keep coming with no signal and no data.
