One free village. Every legion Rome can raise. No walls, no army — just you, Getafix's cauldron, and thirty-one provinces standing between the Gauls and total conquest. Asterix: The Gallic Wars rebuilds the turn-based conquest map from the classic Asterix strategy game — the one where a single unconquered village held out against the whole Roman Empire, province by province. That game vanished from shelves years ago. This is it, rebuilt from scratch for your phone. Reinforce. Attack. Move. Repeat until Rome breaks — or you do. If you've ever played Risk and wondered what it would feel like with a face, a map, and an empire that actually fights back, start here. **WHAT YOU'RE PLAYING** - 31 provinces, 5 regions — a full turn-based campaign map of ancient Gaul (Armorica, Belgica, Lugdunensis, Aquitania, Narbonensis), reinforce/attack/move each turn like a lightweight Risk - Getafix's potion economy — 9 key ingredient provinces (mistletoe, wine, and more) brew bonus cauldrons of reinforcements when you hold them - A real opponent — three difficulty levels of Caesar's AI, with carefully tuned reinforcement and attack budgets - Two ways to see the war — a hand-painted illustrated 2D map, or a sweeping 3D strategy map with full terrain, pinch-to-zoom included - Comic-book presentation — parchment, ink, and gold UI, bold display lettering, hand-painted province art, haptic feedback on every move - Built for everyone — full VoiceOver support and accessibility from day one - Save and resume — pick your campaign back up exactly where Rome left you
