Análisis de la app Seder Olam — Jewish Timeline para 22 de octubre

A timeline of Jewish history from Creation to the year 6000 — 739 events and 1,963 articles on people, places, books and ideas, every date shown together with its source. NOW IN HEBREW TOO The whole reference has been translated: 1,963 articles and all 739 events, the timeline, the map, the circle of the year, the routes, the index and gematria. THE TIMELINE Drag with a finger and the centuries move under your hand. Life spans show who lived alongside whom, and the shape of each bar says what is actually known: recorded years of birth and death, years of reign, or only the years the sources speak of. TIME SLICE Put the marker on any year and see who was alive: the sages and figures of Jewish history, and separately those who lived elsewhere in the world at the same moment. THIS WEEK Once a day, a single page: what is coming in the week ahead — festivals and yahrzeits — and, kept separate, what happened on these same days in earlier years. Below them, one fact with an Explore button. THE WORLD ALONGSIDE 166 rulers, thinkers and witnesses of other nations and 337 events of world history — from the Mari archive and Hatshepsut to the Lisbon earthquake, Edison's lamp and Chernobyl — so that you can see what was happening around. THE CHAIN OF TRANSMISSION The forty links of Maimonides — from Moses to Rav Ashi — the sealing of the Talmud, and the later succession of halakhic authority. Every link is named and grounded. TWO CHRONOLOGIES, HONESTLY Dates follow the count of Seder Olam Rabbah; where academic dating differs, the app says so plainly and gives both figures. ALSO INSIDE World map, the Jewish year with its festivals and fasts, the weekly portion, twelve guided routes through the timeline, 71 chasidic courts and their rebbes, self-test by era, 280 “Did you know?” cards, an index and gematria. IN DEVELOPMENT The schools of Torah learning, the family tree and the glossary are already open in the menu and still being completed. Works offline: the whole reference lives inside the app. No account, no ads, no purchases. Articles in Russian, English and Hebrew.
