Análisis de la app Switchly - App Blocker para 12 de octubre

Stay focused. Stay in control. Switchly is a powerful Android app blocker and focus tool that helps you reduce distractions without giving up control of your phone. Block entire apps and websites, restrict distracting sections inside supported apps, create different focus profiles, and automate everything using schedules, NFC tags, QR codes, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, location and more. 🚀 BLOCK DISTRACTIONS YOUR WAY • Block selected apps • Block distracting websites in supported browsers • Block distracting in-app sections inside supported apps • Set daily usage limits • Limit how often apps can be opened • Add per-visit limits for selected apps • Create different profiles for Work, Study, Sleep, Focus and more Instead of forcing one fixed setup, Switchly lets you decide how strict each profile should be. 📱 IN-APP BLOCKING Sometimes you don't want to block an entire app — just the part that keeps pulling you back in. Switchly can block supported distracting surfaces inside apps while leaving the rest of the app available. For example, you can restrict short-form or highly distracting sections while still keeping access to the useful parts of an app. 🌐 WEBSITE BLOCKING Block distracting websites directly from your Switchly profiles. Website rules can work alongside app blocking, limits and schedules, giving you one place to control both app and web distractions. 🔑 PHYSICAL CONTROLS Turn NFC tags, QR codes and barcodes into physical controls for Switchly. • Tap an NFC tag to enable, disable or toggle Switchly • Switch profiles using physical tags • Require a paired NFC tag before disabling protection • Use QR codes or barcodes as control keys • Keep the key somewhere away from your phone to add real-world friction A small physical step can make mindless disabling much harder. ⚙️ AUTOMATION Let Switchly change your focus setup automatically. • Time and day schedules • Wi-Fi triggers • Bluetooth triggers • Location triggers • Quick Settings tiles • Temporary enable / disable modes • Emergency Unlock as a limited safety fallback Create a routine once and let Switchly handle the rest. 👤 PROFILES Create separate setups for different parts of your day. Each profile can have its own: • Blocked apps • Website rules • Limits • In-app restrictions • Automation • Protection behaviour Switch between a light daytime setup and a much stricter focus profile whenever you need it. 🛡️ PRIVACY FIRST Most Switchly functionality runs locally on your device. • No ads • No account required for core local features • No selling of personal information • Local backup and restore • Optional cloud backup when you want it Online features are separate from the local blocking system. ♿ ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE Switchly uses Android's Accessibility Service for app, website and supported in-app blocking. When enabled, Accessibility allows Switchly to detect the currently visible app or supported content and enforce the blocking rules you configured. Switchly uses Accessibility access to: • Detect the foreground app • Determine whether it should be blocked • Detect supported website or in-app surfaces • Display the Switchly blocking screen • Enforce your configured restrictions while switching between apps Switchly does not use Accessibility access to read your messages, passwords, typed text or keystrokes, and it is not used for advertising or profiling. Accessibility access is optional and must be enabled manually in Android Settings. Without it, profiles and some automation can still work, but reliable blocking cannot be enforced. 💾 BACKUP & CUSTOMIZATION • Local backup and restore • Optional cloud backup • Custom accent colors • Light and dark appearance • Configurable Home layout • Built-in diagnostics and support tools Switchly adds friction where distractions are easiest - while keeping you in control of how strict that friction should be.
