Análisis de la app Acceleread: Speed Reading para 21 de octubre

Read up to 3x faster in as little as 2 weeks, about 10 minutes a day. Acceleread is a daily speed reading trainer that builds a real skill you keep in every book, email, PDF and exam. Most apps summarize books for you. Acceleread does the opposite — it trains YOU to read faster, so the skill goes with you everywhere and never leaves. SIX TRAINING TOOLS • Word Flash — flashes one word at a time so your eyes stop backtracking and get paced faster • Schulte Table — a number-grid drill that widens your visual span and cuts fixations • Hopscotch — an eye-movement drill that trains your eyes to move forward, not back • Column Highlighter — guides your eyes down the page in columns to read faster • Diamond Highlighter — highlights key phrases to sharpen focus and cut distraction • Sight Stretcher — widens your peripheral vision so you take in more per glance WHAT ELSE YOU GET • Free reading-speed test — measure your words per minute and comprehension, then watch both climb • Gamified training course — a level path with daily goals, streaks and reminders that make practice stick • Comprehension checks — so faster speed never costs understanding • Progress tracking — WPM over time, comprehension scores and milestones • Built-in library and distraction-free reader — practise on real books, curated for you HOW IT WORKS Take the WPM test to get your baseline, follow a personalized plan, and train about 10 minutes a day. Small daily reps and a streak turn faster reading into a habit that sticks. THE SCIENCE Word Flash pacing, eye-movement drills and Schulte tables target the habits that slow readers down — backtracking, subvocalizing and a narrow focus span (progress measured by in-app assessments).
