iShredder™ – secure data eraser & file shredder for Android Protect your personal and work data before you sell, trade in, repair, recycle or hand over your phone. iShredder securely overwrites photos, files, folders and empty space, making later recovery extremely difficult even with recovery apps or forensic tools. WHY NORMAL DELETE ISN’T ENOUGH Deleting a file on Android often removes its reference without immediately overwriting the storage area it occupied. Depending on the device, Android version and storage technology, residual data may remain. iShredder targets selected content and empty space for secure overwriting instead of merely removing files from view. CERTIFIED, MILITARY-GRADE ERASURE iShredder supports recognized methods such as DoD 5220.22-M, NIST SP 800-88, BSI TL-03423 and other international standards. Choose a quick one-pass wipe for routine tasks or a stricter multi-pass process for particularly sensitive information. The Android app has been independently assessed and awarded DEKRA MASA L1 security certification under OWASP MASVS Level 1 requirements. iShredder also received the Fortress Cybersecurity Award 2025 for its data-erasure technology and app security. Select files, folders, app traces, empty space or a storage area. 2. Choose the erasure algorithm suited to your security needs. 3. Start the wipe — iShredder overwrites the selected areas and, where available, generates an erasure report. FOR BUSINESS, IT & PRIVACY OPERATIONS Certified methods and reports help organizations manage device rotation, returns, reuse, onboarding/offboarding and internal security procedures. They can support documented data-disposal and GDPR-aligned privacy workflows when combined with your organization’s compliance requirements. ADVANCED OPTIONS WHEN YOU NEED MORE Depending on the edition, iShredder provides additional deletion algorithms, extended reports and professional options for power users, businesses and public-sector teams. Use iShredder for regular privacy maintenance, shared devices and repeatable IT processes. PRIVACY & SECURITY BY DESIGN Connections to Protectstar services use modern TLS encryption. The app avoids unnecessary data collection and, as stated in Google Play’s Data Safety section, does not share user data with third parties. Note: Features, algorithms and reports can vary by device, Android version and iShredder edition. With iShredder, “deleted” really means securely erased.
