Untap — Take Control of Your Screen Time. Tired of losing hours to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and other distracting apps? Untap is a powerful digital wellbeing app and app blocker designed to break your phone addiction, stop mindless scrolling, and boost your daily productivity. How Untap Works When you try to open a blocked or controlled app, Untap deploys a calm, customizable pause shield with a countdown timer. This brief delay introduces mindful friction, shattering your autopilot habit loop and giving your brain a conscious choice: Do you really want to open this right now? Key Focus & Productivity Features • Pause Shield: Set a configurable delay (5–60 seconds) before distracting apps open. Just enough friction to stop doomscrolling without inducing frustration. • Session Timer: Control your daily limits. Set exact time limits for each social or gaming session. When time runs out, the focus shield locks it back down. • Strict Focus Mode: Schedule completely distraction-free hours for studying or work. Block toxic notifications and keep your brain in a deep focus flow state. • Dopamine Detox Challenges: Need an extra shield? Require solving a quick math challenge or puzzle to unlock apps when you need strict discipline. • Hard Lock & Strict Mode: Lock yourself completely out of specific addictive apps with zero bypass options for ultimate productivity. • Visual Screen Time Tracker: Monitor your real digital habits at a glance. View beautifully designed donut charts showing your overall screen time activity and controlled app stats. • Detailed Analytics: Review weekly focus reports to trace which platforms hijack your attention and map out your self-improvement progress. Why Choose Untap over other App Blockers? Modern social media algorithms are engineered to keep you hooked with infinite scroll and variable dopamine rewards. Untap gives you your attention span back. It works silently in the background as your personal study timer, habit tracker, and focus companion.
