Analyse de l'application FLIC Rate the News pour le 22 octobre

Rate the News. Shape the Truth. The best fact-checker isn't a blue checkmark. It's all of us. Media trust is at an all-time low - and for good reason. Algorithmic feeds reward outrage over accuracy. Editorial bias goes unchallenged. And no single organization can fact-check the entire internet. FLIC fixes that by putting the power where it belongs: in the hands of the people reading the news. FLIC is a crowdsourced news accountability platform that turns passive readers into an active network of media auditors. Read. Rate. Reveal the truth. HOW RATING WORKS Every article gets rated across two dimensions - bias and credibility - so you're never forced to choose between them: Bias Vote (pick one): → Liberal — content with progressive framing or left-leaning perspective → Conservative — content with traditional framing or right-leaning perspective → Independent — balanced, centrist, and strictly factual reporting Credibility Vote (separate tap): → Fake News — factually incorrect, fabricated, or deliberately misleading content An article can be Liberal AND Fake News. Conservative AND accurate. Independent AND misleading. FLIC captures the full picture. AI-POWERED ANALYSIS Every article is scanned by FLIC's AI engine for loaded language, emotional manipulation, missing statistical context, and perspective imbalance - producing a Credibility Score out of 10 that cuts through the spin before you even read the headline. WHY THE CROWD WORKS Worried about mob rule? So were we. That's why FLIC's Trust Score system is designed from the ground up to resist it: The Trusted Analyst system: after 200+ accurate votes, your ratings carry more algorithmic weight - because experience matters Extreme bias and Fake News flags are penalized in the Trust Score formula to prevent echo chambers from gaming the system Location is used only to surface local news stories and is never sold or shared One person's bias is noise. A thousand people's bias is signal. HOLDING JOURNALISTS ACCOUNTABLE Trust follows the journalist, not the masthead. FLIC tracks every reporter's bias level and trust score independently across every outlet they publish in. Know who to trust — no matter where they publish. KNOW YOUR OWN ECHO CHAMBER Your personal FLIC Breakdown shows the exact bias distribution of the news you consume. Most people are surprised. Are you in a bubble?
