WHO THIS IS FOR You need a valid amateur radio license to operate. ECHOCAT does not transmit on its own — it controls a paired POTACAT desktop connected to your station equipment. REQUIREMENTS • An Android phone running Android 10 or later • The POTACAT desktop app (free) running on your Mac, Windows, or Linux station computer • FlexRadio SmartSDR over TCP, or any CAT-capable transceiver over USB serial • A licensed amateur radio operator (FCC Technician class or international equivalent) PRIVACY ECHOCAT does not collect QSO content, callsigns, or location for advertising.
