Analyse de l'application Messages: SMS Text Messaging pour le 6 novembre

Your inbox, finally organized. Messages replaces your default texting app and does the work you have been doing by hand: it flags spam before you see it, pulls every verification code to the top, sorts bills, deliveries and bank alerts into their own place, and adds the tools a texting app should have had years ago. Everything runs on your phone. No account, no sign-in, no message uploaded to anyone. ■ SPAM AND SCAMS, FLAGGED ON SIGHT Prize scams, fake delivery notices, loan bait and phishing links are flagged the moment they arrive — and Messages tells you WHY each one was flagged, so you stay in control. High-risk spam is filed silently, with no notification at all. Block any sender in one tap. ■ EVERY VERIFICATION CODE, ONE TAP AWAY Banks, logins, two-factor prompts — every security code from every sender lands in one screen, newest first, with one-tap copy. Codes also copy straight from the notification and from a Quick Settings tile, so you never open the app or scroll a thread to sign in. (OTP codes, one-time passwords, 2FA — whatever your bank calls them.) ■ YOUR INBOX, SORTED BY ITSELF Banking, Shopping, Delivery, Travel, Codes, Tickets, Spam — every message lands in the right place automatically. Nothing to set up, no rules to write. ■ SPENDING YOU DIDN'T HAVE TO TRACK Card alerts, subscriptions and payment texts become a monthly total, broken down by category. Bills are pulled out with their due dates. Works in dollars, pounds, euros, rupees and more. ■ PACKAGES AND TRIPS Tracking numbers from every carrier gather in one list. Flight, train, bus and hotel bookings are found in your texts and laid out by date. ■ SCHEDULE A TEXT Write it now, send it at 9 AM. Pick 15 minutes, an hour, tomorrow, or any exact time. ■ TRANSLATE IN PLACE Drag the translate bell onto any message and read it in your language, right in the bubble. Over 50 languages. ■ EVERYTHING ELSE A TEXTING APP SHOULD DO • Quick replies you save once and reuse • Smart reply suggestions • Tasks and reminders pulled out of your messages • Daily digest of what mattered • Summary of unread threads • Family Inbox for the people you never want to miss • Business-card scanner that adds the contact for you • Backup and restore • Group MMS, photos, video and audio • Dual-SIM support • Dark mode, 8 accent colors, two chat styles • Home-screen widget with unread count and your latest code • Archive, pin, star and swipe actions you can remap ■ PRIVACY IS THE PRODUCT Most free texting apps are free because your messages are the product. This one is not. • Your messages are read and sorted on your phone. Spam detection, categorizing, codes, summaries, expenses — all of it runs locally, with no server involved. • No account and no sign-in. There is nothing to breach. • Your messages, contacts and codes are never sold and never used to target ads. • The app's own database is excluded from cloud backup, so your texts don't leave that way. • One honest exception: translation. When YOU tap Translate on a message, that one message is sent to a translation service so it can be translated — nothing else about you goes with it, and it never happens on its own. Full detail in our privacy policy. Messages is free and ad-supported. Ads never see your message content. ■ AFTER CALL When a call ends, Messages can show a card offering to text that person, schedule a message for later, or send a photo. It is optional, it never reads your call history and it never records calls. Turn it off any time in Settings → After call. ■ WHY IT NEEDS SMS PERMISSION Android only lets one app be your default texting app, and only that app can send, receive and organize texts. That is what the permission is for. English, with Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Persian and Indonesian in progress.
