If your watermark was customized on a horizontal photo, the app will move it to a similar position on a vertical image. Synchronize and re-use templates If you have a handful of watermarks that you tend to recycle, our list of 10 recently used templates will surely save you some time by speeding up the watermarking process. Upload your images, choose one of the templates on the list, adjust it slightly if necessary, and apply it to your photos, PDF documents or videos. It will take less than a minute! Watermarkly also offers online synchronization with our browser-based counterpart app. The watermarks that are added to the list of the recently used templates are automatically synchronized, and you’ll be able to access them across all your devices. For example, you create and apply a watermark to your photos, videos or PDF files in our browser-based app on your computer. This watermark template will be automatically added to the list of recently used templates and synchronized. And the next time you open the mobile app, you will see the same watermark that you’ve created on your computer. Protect your images Watermarks are mainly used to prevent theft. Nowadays, it doesn’t take much time or effort to steal an image: in just a few clicks, someone else can claim that they took the shot that you’ve worked on so painstakingly long. For this reason, stock photography companies protect their photos by posting their low-resolution versions and filling them with tiled watermarks. People are forced to buy high-resolution, non-watermarked images to use them for their purposes. Watermarks are a good way to claim your copyright, especially if you are posting your works on social media, where, unfortunately, theft is a common thing. Promote your brand In addition to protecting your photos, videos & PDF files, watermarks can be a great advertisement. Currently, the market is oversaturated with amazing visual content, which prompts more and more customers to choose those brands, who they can easily and quickly get in contact with. If you add your logo, website address, or contact information to your images, you will provide potential clients with the opportunity to quickly find you on the boundless Web. There would be no need for them to play detective and try to figure out where the photo they liked so much came from. Use other tools As we’ve already mentioned, there is a web-based counterpart app, Watermarkly, that you can use in a browser on your computer or tablet. We have the offline desktop watermarking app for Mac and Windows, which can process up to 50,000 in one go. Last, but not least, we offer various browser-based tools, with the help of which you will be able to resize, crop, and compress your images within a few moments.
