Here at 5X Racing we like to race EVERYTHING! One of our other racing hobbies is motocross, and we've always thought the motocross graphics and number plate game won the style competition by far. To us, road racing racecar numbers are a bit boring and plain, and maybe they could use a bit of motocross influence but yet stay legal to the SCCA rules. So, we worked with a local motocross graphics company here in Florida and came up with something that not only looked great, was non-branded, and was very reproducible with your custom number.

        The JDM Engineering Stage 1Upgrade kit combines our proven custom tuning with a Massive Intercooler and Cold Air kit to improve power, cooling, and fuel economy!  This package nets almost +100 HP and +150 TQ gain from factory rating!!  The Whipple cold air kit removes any restriction in front of the turbochargers allowing for more airflow which equals more power.  Also, due to a colder intake air temp, we see a gain in power on the initial hit of throttle and a drastic reduction in heat soak!!  Super cooling the air charge is a Massive WHIPPLE Intercooler, which makes heat soak a thing of the past.  We include a set of Motorcraft SP-550 plugs to prevent spark blow out or detonation.  We recommend the gap be set to .028" before installing. Expect a modest bump in fuel economy from our upgrade kit of about 1-2 mpg, and a driving experience like non other weather you are driving on road or tearing through some terrain in the desert.  With the SCT programmer included in this upgrade kit, the 10R80 Transmission is put to good use and refined to no longer hunt for a higher gear when driving normal throttle, but there is zero hesitation when rolling into throttle offering the right gear at the right time. These trucks have 10 speeds and we want to use them all! When floored, our upgrade kit will surprise you with enough torque to tear the pavement and chirp the tires on the shifts!  Baja mode is now especially revamped to allow for swift and responsive power far beyond the already quick factory calibration.  2WD baja mode will shred tires on demand, making your raptor act like a lightning ready to pound the dirt!  Expect refinement only gained from being in the business for over 20 years at JDM Engineering.   What you can expect from your JDM Engineering Stage 1 Upgrade kit! -100 HP and 150 TQ Gain!!
