Crafted on a small island off of the coast of Portugal, Madeira wine is known for its velvety mouthfeel and notes of walnut and orange peel. We knew these flavors would marry beautifully with the vanilla, caramel, and spice notes in our Pennsylvania Straight Bourbon. Luckily, we were able to source two Madeira barrels from Portugal and, after some searching, found the perfect flavor profile of aged bourbon in our barrelhouse to let rest in the barrels for approximately year. The result: one of our most luxurious whiskies yet with notes of Salted Caramel, Raisin & Vanilla.
