We understand this has raised concerns among students, families, and members of our community. The district respects employees’ First Amendment rights and appreciates the staff member’s cooperation. State law and district policy require that employees’ personal expression not interfere with the learning environment. These guidelines apply to all staff, regardless of the viewpoint or topic, and are designed to help maintain a constructive and welcoming learning environment for every student.
