Approximately one quarter of the world's population is suffering from hypertension, 5% suffer from low blood pressure (hypotension). Many people do not even know that they are affected, as it usually come without symptoms. However, it is risk factor number one for cardiovascular diseases. Therefore people should check their values regularly and keep the data in a bp log.
