This app is our attempt to bottle that feeling for everyone who lives and works under British skies. Built from the ground up for the United Kingdom, Petrichor Weather gives you the forecast, the radar, and the small meteorological details that matter for anyone planning a walk to the station, a Saturday on the coast, or a Friday night out. WHAT YOU GET • A full 7-day forecast for over 5,000 UK locations, from Penzance to Inverness, in plain English with the temperatures, wind, and precipitation you actually feel. • Hour-by-hour breakdowns for the next 48 hours, with a single glance — no unfolding tabs, no clutter. • Live rain radar from the Met Office, refreshed every 15 minutes, so you can see exactly what is heading your way. • Tide times for over 200 coastal locations, perfect for anyone fishing, sailing, or just chasing rock pools. • Sunrise, sunset, golden hour, and blue hour times, calibrated to your exact GPS position. • Pollen counts and air quality index for high-allergy areas. • Severe weather alerts from the Met Office, pushed to your lock screen the moment they are issued. DESIGNED FOR THE BRITISH WAY OF LIFE • Celsius by default. We never use Fahrenheit. • Wind speeds in miles per hour, never knots or kilometres per hour. • "Light rain", "heavy rain", and "drizzle" as distinct forecasts, not a one-size-fits-all "rain" icon. • Locations saved by British place names — "St Ives, Cornwall", not "St Ives, USA". • Pull-to-refresh, no buttons needed.
