Neiv is an offline car navigator for Ukraine that keeps guiding you when the GPS signal disappears or is distorted. GPS stays the primary source. When it drops out, Neiv computes the distance travelled from your car's own speed (standard OBD-II port, Bluetooth LE or Wi-Fi adapter) together with the phone's gyroscope, and matches the track onto an offline road graph. This is an estimate, not a replacement for satellite positioning: the error grows the longer GPS is missing, so the app shows an uncertainty circle. Fixes the app judges unreliable are not shown as your position; detection can miss some spoofing. BACKGROUND USE While the app is running, including with the screen locked, it keeps using location and the adapter connection so the position is not lost. Closing the app stops it. SAFETY Dead reckoning is an assistive estimate. Keep reading the road, the signs and the markings; responsibility for driving stays with the driver.
