A free topographic map makes it easier to get around outdoors and discover new places. You can always see where you are and what's around you. You can search for and save interesting places, measure distances, and easily navigate to different destinations. Maastokartat is suitable for activities such as hiking and trekking, berry and mushroom picking, fishing and boating, hunting, running and mountain biking, as well as geocaching. The app is also useful for forestry work and for landowners. Basic use is free, and the app contains no ads. The app is designed to work well on both phones and tablets. The Android app was released in 2015, and active development continues today. For more than a decade, the app has evolved based on user feedback and changing needs.
