The NHS31xx IC consists of an Cortex M0+ with an embedded NFC interface, internal temperature sensor and direct battery connection. Using it, an effective system solution with a minimal number of external components becomes within reach. The embedded ARM Cortex-M0+ offers flexibility to the users of this IC to implement their dedicated solution. On the M0+ core, it is easy to implement a monitor, tailored for each specific medicin and each patient. At any time, the chip can be interrogated to verify compliance. The NHS3100 and NHS3152 ICs contains multiple features like various power-down modes and a selectable CPU frequency up to 8 MHz for ultra-low power consumption. Users can program them with the industry-wide standard solutions for ARM Cortex-M0+ processors. The firmware application and this APP are part of the NHS31xx SDK - both with full sources - and ensure customers have a jump-start into creating their own tailored solutions.
