To enable website blocking during active study sessions, StudyTube uses Android's AccessibilityService API. • Purpose: To detect when you navigate to user-defined distracting websites in supported web browsers (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Brave, Samsung Internet) while a Focus session is actively running, and immediately redirect you back to StudyTube or display a focus reminder screen. • Data Privacy: StudyTube DOES NOT collect, store, transmit, or share any personal or sensitive user information, login credentials, passwords, keystrokes, or browsing history. All URL inspection and keyword matching is performed 100% locally and offline on your device, and only during active Focus sessions. • User Control: The Accessibility Service is completely optional and disabled by default. It is only activated if you explicitly grant permission after viewing our prominent in-app disclosure, and you can disable it at any time in your device's Android Settings.
