ABOUT THE BOOK: This book is the sequel to the original '52 Hikes for 52 Weeks' book which I published in 2020. The idea to write this type of seasonal book came about, because my friends and I always have trouble figuring out where the absolute best place to go hiking is for any particular time of year. Since a lot of people love doing what is known as the 52 Hike Challenge (where you do 52 different hikes in one year), I thought I would create a book that has the perfect hike for every week in the year. This way, for an entire year, you won't have to spend hours scouring maps, looking through lots of books and online for that perfect hike. For each of the 52 hikes in this book you will get a detailed write-up of the trail with info about difficulty, possibly hazards, what kind of trail tread there is and what plants and views you will see along the way. Each write-up features a color topographical map with a scannable QR code so you can have the map on your phone and leave the book in the car. There are also color photos in the book so that you can get a taste of what each adventure has to offer.
