More about Bo's musically and culturally inclined background can be found here. After a short introduction by the Friends of the Forest Avenue Library, Bo James will speak. Refreshments will be provided courtesy of the Friends of the Forest Avenue Library. All six DMPL locations will be closed in recognition of the holiday. Forest Avenue Library will only be open during the MLK Day Program. Doors open at 3:30PM.

2018年ゴールデンウィークに行ってきたエベレストBCトレッキングの山行日記１です。 費用やスケジュールなど、概要は下記にまとめています。 ネパール エベレストBCトレッキング 概要 2018.5.16 目次 DAY1-2 羽田 – カトマンズ – Bengkar (2800m) DAY3 Bengkar – ナムチェ (3440m) DAY4 ナムチェ (3440m) DAY5 ナムチェ – ディボチェ (3800m) DAY1-2 羽田 – カトマンズ – Bengkar (2800m) 早朝羽田を出発。6時半発だったので、都内から深夜バスで向かおうと思っていたが、よくよく調べると、羽田空港到着が5時ころになってしまう。 国際線で1時間半前到着はちょっと不安だなと思い、前夜のうちに蒲田へ行き、ネットカフェで数時間仮眠して蒲田3時発のバスで羽田に向かった。終電で羽田空港へ行き、ベンチで仮眠も考えたが、絶対寝れないと思ったので辞めておいた。 3時過ぎに羽田空港へ到着すると、ベンチで寝ている人多数。 その人たちの横で、コンビニで買ったうどんを食べた。 清掃機がうるさいし、明かりもけっこうあるし、人通りもまあまあ。私はここでは寝れないなと思った。 掲示板を見ると、私の便は1時間遅れだった。なので、せっかく前日蒲田入りして来たが、あまり意味がなかったw まあ、当日にならないとこれはわからないことなのでしょうがない。 1時間遅れで出発し、1時間遅れで香港到着。 今回はキャセイドラゴン航空。初めて乗った。 各席にはモニターがあり映画が見ることができたけど、音声壊れているのが多くて、なかなかきちんと見れるのを選ぶのは大変だった。 機内でスマホを使うのはOKだったので、スマホで本読んだりも。 機内食は普通に美味しい。かならずハーゲンダッツアイスがついてくるのにはびっくり嬉しかった。 香港のトランジットは7時間。 前夜は蒲田のネットカフェで2時間くらいしか寝てないし、この日の夜もカトマンズに深夜到着して早朝出発のため3時間くらいしか寝ることができない。ので、香港観光はせず空港で仮眠することにしていた。 このために、空港ラウンジが使えるプライオリティパスを手に入れていたので、さっそくラウンジへ。
