Balancing Act follow recent single ‘Scar’ with the wonderfully chaotic ‘Had Another Mare’– a genre-hopping, brilliantly surreal offering that marks them as one of the UK’s most exciting left-leaning guitar acts. Clocking in at just over two minutes, the track darts between brooding alt-rock to mischievous trip-hop textures and warped experimental pop, all while maintaining a sharp, clean edge. Since their 2022 debut and subsequent EP releases, including last year’s ‘Tightropes And Limericks’, the London-based outfit has earned tastemaker support from BBC Radio 1’s Jack Saunders, 6 Music, Clash, Dork and DIY, among others.
