Technische Beschreibung des FG Formel 1 Competition Das Fahrchassis des FG Formel 1 Competition ist auf einem 5mm Aluminium-Chassis aufgebaut. Alle Schrauben unter dem Chassis sind versenkt. Die Vorder- und Hinterachsträger sowie die Motoreinheit sind über die komplette Länge des Chassis miteinander verbunden, so dass nahezu die Steifigkeit eines Monocoque-Chassis erreicht wird. Der Motor ist über eine Schnellbefestigung fixiert, somit ist ein schneller Motorenwechsel möglich. Der Antrieb zur Hinterachse erfolgt über mehrere leichtlaufende Stirn-Zahnräder und einen FG Kugel-Antrieb an der Hinterachse. Die Kupplungsglocke wird über ein separates Flanschlager gehalten, um die Kurbelwelle zu entlasten. Die Vorder- und Hinterachse mit vielseitigen Einstellmöglichkeiten wie Sturz, Nachlauf, usw. besteht unten aus Alu-Dreieckslenkern. Stabile Alu-Hinterachsplatinen reduzieren den Verschleiß an der Hinterachse und geben enorme Fahrstabilität. Vier Öldruckstoßdämpfer, die über eine Push-Rod Aufhängung betätigt werden sowie Stabilisatoren sorgen für den optimalen Bodenkontakt. Das Chassis wird mit montierter Hydraulikbremse für die Vorder- und Hinterachse ausgeliefert. Im Modell ist ein leistungsstarken 26 cm³Zenoah Motor inkl. Airbox und Resonanz-Schalldämpfer verbaut.
