10月6日 的 Sacra: Church Calendar 應用程式分析

How do you explain the Feast of the Epiphany to a six-year-old? How do you make Lent meaningful for your whole family? Sacra is more than a calendar. It is a guide for living the beauty of the church year together. A LIVING CALENDAR At the heart of Sacra is an interactive calendar wheel that guides you through all eight seasons: Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, Pentecost, and Ordinary Time. The colors, themes, and imagery shift with the seasons, helping your family feel the rhythm of the church year as it unfolds. FAMILY ACTIVITIES FOR EVERY SEASON Sacra includes activities for every season: crafts, devotionals, service projects, recipes, and more. Each one comes with step-by-step instructions, a materials list, age recommendations, and a Scripture connection. They are designed to help families experience the church year together in simple, meaningful ways. MORNING & EVENING PRAYER Each day offers a morning and evening prayer rooted in the themes of the current season. From the quiet hope of Advent to the bold joy of Easter, every prayer is thoughtfully written and paired with Scripture from the World English Bible. There are prayers here for every day of the year, written to draw you deeper into each season's meaning. THE REVISED COMMON LECTIONARY The complete three-year lectionary cycle is included, with Old Testament, Psalm, Epistle, and Gospel readings for every Sunday and major feast day. Full Scripture text is right in the app, so you can read and reflect without needing anything else. THE STORY BEHIND THE SEASONS Each season and feast day includes historical context, theological reflection, and notes on how different traditions observe it. These are not dry encyclopedia entries. They are written to help you understand and love the church year more deeply. YOUR TRADITION, HONORED During setup, you choose your tradition, and Sacra adapts. Anglican and Lutheran users see additional feast days. Terminology and Advent color options adjust to match your background. Throughout, Sacra follows the Revised Common Lectionary, the shared calendar of readings used across Protestant traditions, so the heart of the church year stays the same wherever you worship. DESIGNED FOR CONTEMPLATION The seasonal color palette, warm watercolor illustrations, and thoughtful typography are all designed to create a quiet, inviting space. This is an app meant to slow you down, not speed you up. WIDGETS FOR YOUR HOME SCREEN Stay connected to the church year from your home screen, lock screen, or StandBy mode.
