BUILT TO BE READ FROM Left, center, right, or justified text alignment, adjustable text size, a reading line you can drag to sit near the lens, and per-word contrast so the script survives over a bright background. The controls fade once you start, and come back with a tap. SCROLL BY HAND WHEN YOU NEED TO Drag through the script yourself to skip ahead — release, and voice tracking picks up right from where you dragged to, so pausing to set up a later scene is one motion, not a fight to get back on track. KNOWS HOW LONG IT RUNS Word count and estimated run time as you write, then elapsed time, time remaining and your pace while you speak — measured from how fast you actually talk, not assumed. WRITE OR OPEN A SCRIPT Type directly in a full-screen editor, or open a file from Files or iCloud Drive (.txt, .md, .rtf) — edits save back to it automatically. Line breaks and blank lines carry over, so deliberate gaps stay as ad-lib room. Speech recognition prefers Apple's on-device recogniser; if your iPhone has not downloaded the offline speech model, iOS falls back to Apple's speech service to transcribe.
