PeekLens Essential is a private, portable UN/EDIFACT workbench for anyone who reads, builds or troubleshoots EDI messages: EDI analysts, integration developers, customs and logistics teams, and learners. Paste, import or share a message and PeekLens checks its syntax against the public UN/EDIFACT directory it declares, then explains every finding in plain language. Everything happens on your device. No account, no sign-in, no tracking. INSPECT - Check envelope and message syntax: UNB/UNZ, UNH/UNT, segment counts, mandatory segments and elements, composite structure, data types and lengths - Clear findings that show where the issue is, what the directory expects and which rule produced it - Explore any message segment by segment, with names and meanings for every element REFERENCE - Browse messages and segments for each supported release - See how composites, elements and segment groups are defined, offline COMPARE - Compare a message type between two releases and see which segments were added, changed or removed, including nested segment groups SHARE SAFELY - Mask party IDs, references and other sensitive values before sharing, with a preview of exactly what will be shared - Export a Syntax Inspection Report to share with colleagues or partners - Import files or send messages to PeekLens from Mail, Files and other apps LEARN - Built-in guides and concepts for the essentials of UN/EDIFACT structure 14 PUBLIC UN/EDIFACT RELEASES INCLUDED 92.1, D.95B, D.96A, D.97A, D.98B, D.99B, D.00A, D.00B, D.01B, D.13B, D.18A, D.20A, D.20B and D.24A, built from the official EDIFACT directory archives. All releases are included with your purchase and work fully offline. DESIGNED FOR IPHONE AND IPAD One app for both, with a layout that makes use of the larger iPad screen. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your messages are inspected entirely on your device. PeekLens has no account, no analytics and does not send your messages anywhere. Inspection history is optional and stays on your device. IMPORTANT PeekLens performs syntax-only inspection based on the public EDIFACT directories. It does not check business rules, implementation guides (MIGs), trading-partner requirements or regulatory and customs acceptance, and it is not an official validator. A clean result does not guarantee that a message will be accepted by any partner or authority.
