PERMISSIONS • Location (Foreground & Background) Used to enable real-time location sharing, check-in history, and place alerts. Location may be accessed even when the app is closed or not in use, if you grant background access. • Notifications Used to deliver alerts such as location updates, emergency messages, and zone notifications (Android 13+). • Camera (Optional) Used to scan QR codes when joining a circle. A foreground service with a persistent notification runs while location sharing is active.
