I am beginning my 16th year of teaching and have been at Avoca West since 2017; teaching 3rd grade and now beginning my second year in 2nd grade. Early in my career, I taught 3rd grade in CPS for eight years before moving out of the city to continue raising my family in my hometown of Wilmette. I earned my BA from the University of Colorado in psychology and dance and completed my Mater's degree in Elementary Education and Social Policy at Northwestern. When not at school I am busy cooking, watching sports, and keeping up with my four children!
