腸痙攣（俗稱「腸抽筋」）是都市人的常見病徵之一。正常情況下，人體的腸道肌肉有規律地收縮，腸道內容物增加腸壁的張力，進而刺激腸道的蠕動反射，讓內容物順利通過。然而，當小腸或大腸因腸易激綜合症、食物敏感、腸胃炎、情緒壓力、藥物副作用等原因而不受控制地收縮，就可能引致腸痙攣。除了陣發性的腸絞痛，相連症狀可包括腹脹、胃氣脹痛、腹瀉等。   如今，紓緩腸痙攣徵狀的「解痙藥」分為兩大類。第一類是鬆弛腸道平滑肌的藥物，例如阿爾維林（Alverine）、美貝維林（Mebeverine）。顧名思義，它們透過直接放鬆腸道平滑肌，抑制腸壁肌肉收縮，紓緩「腸抽筋」帶來的痛楚。常見副作...
