Is the Navy responsible for all U.S. government sunken military craft? What about foreign sunken military craft in U.S. waters? What about sunken military craft associated with the Confederacy? Why do regulations associated with a law governing the protection of sunken craft include protections for terrestrial craft? How does NHHC define a terrestrial military craft? Why does NHHC prefer in situ preservation (preservation in place) as its primary management strategy for sunken and terrestrial military craft?
