Decibel Meter turns your phone into a quick way to check how loud a place really is. Tap Start and you see the current sound level in dB with a live spectrum. End the session and the app keeps the average, peak and minimum values, the duration and the audio it recorded, so you can go back and compare later. The app does not upload them. PERMISSIONS • Microphone: needed to measure sound. Keep the app in the foreground while measuring. • Camera and location: used only when you take a scene photo with the reading on it. PLEASE NOTE Readings come from your phone's microphone, so they vary between devices and are affected by cases, dust and system audio processing.
