Akne inversa (Hidradenitis suppurativa) ist eine entzündliche Erkrankung der Talgdrüsen und der Haarfollikel. Sie tritt meist in den Achselhöhlen, in der Leistenregion oder unter der Brust auf. Typisch sind wiederkehrende, schmerzhafte Knoten, Abszesse, Fistelgänge und Vernarbungen. Akne inversa verläuft schmerzhaft und chronisch, die Betroffenen sind häufig stark belastet – körperlich wie psychisch. Die Krankheit betrifft vor allem junge Erwachsene, Frauen deutlich häufiger als Männer. Neben genetischen Faktoren gelten auch Rauchen, Übergewicht, Stress, Hyperhidrose, immunologische und hormonelle Einflüsse als Risikofaktoren. Prof. Dr. Michael Sticherling, stellvertretender Direktor der Hautklinik (Direktorin: Prof. Dr. Carola Berking) des Uniklinikums Erlangen, gibt in der nächsten Online-Fragestunde des Deutschen Zentrums Immuntherapie des Uniklinikums Erlangen einen Überblick über aktuelle Erkenntnisse zu Akne inversa.
