The new generation of 125cc engine from the YX factory, the YX125 engine, is one of the most reliable horizontal lay flat engines on the market. Being the top spec 1P53FMI 125cc engine model, this engine has the extra power from the bigger valves, fitted as standard with the YX140 type alloy head, alloy cylinder barrel, and wide ratio gearbox for increased top speed and long-term reliability. Why are our engines different to other sellers’ engines? Other seller engines: Engines are sold boxed, unopened and unchecked, with no adjustments carried out, which, if left unchecked, can cause running issues and, in worst cases, serious damage during the most important point of engine life (the running-in period). Our engines: We carry out a full inspection to ensure all components are present, and we make the adjustments that are commonly required: timing checks and valve clearance settings. We drain the transport oil (not suitable for running your engine). On our latest-spec engines, we also specify and supply key reliability/performance upgrades (intake match, flywheel and clutch improvements) and where a kit includes carb/ignition components, our setups are verified with in-house AFR testing. What does this mean for me?
