Análisis de la app Nearby: p2p mesh chatting para 9 de octubre

Nearby lets you find and message the people right around you — even when there's no internet, no cell signal, and no Wi-Fi network to join. Instead of routing your messages through the cloud, Nearby links your phone directly to the phones near you. No account. No phone number. No servers in the middle. Open the app, see who's around, and start talking. WHY NEARBY • Works with zero internet — phones connect directly, no router or data plan needed • No sign-up, no phone number, no email — just open and go • Nothing you send is routed through a company's servers • You decide who can see you: Everyone, Contacts Only, or Invisible WHAT YOU CAN DO • Discover people nearby in real time • Start one-on-one conversations • Send a quick wave to break the ice • Spin up a group chat with everyone in range • Follow each message from sent to queued to delivered, so you always know what got through • Step out of range? Nearby holds your message and delivers it automatically once you reconnect PLAY TOGETHER • Five two-player games right inside a chat: Tic-Tac-Toe, Four in a Row, Gomoku, Reversi, and Matchsticks • Moves travel over the same direct phone-to-phone link as your messages — no game servers, no matchmaking • Step out of range mid-game and your move is held, then delivered when you reconnect • Games unlock with a one-time purchase, and only the person starting the game needs it — the other player always plays free STAYS OUT OF THE WAY • Conversations are stored locally on your device, not in the cloud • Let old conversations fade away on their own, automatically • No ads. No tracking. No analytics. PERFECT FOR • Festivals, concerts, and packed venues where the network buckles • Flights, cruises, subways, and dead zones with no bars • Campuses, conferences, and classrooms • Traveling abroad with no data plan • Anyone who just wants to reach the people standing right next to them Nearby is the fastest way to talk to the people around you — no setup, no strings, no signal required.
