Análisis de la app BlockShorts: No Shorts & Reels para 11 de octubre

Keep YouTube. Lose only Shorts. Keep Instagram. Lose only Reels. BlockShorts blocks the short-form feeds that steal your evening, without deleting the apps you still need for tutorials, DMs, search, and long videos. WHAT IT BLOCKS • YouTube Shorts - the moment the feed opens • Instagram Reels - the moment the feed opens • Everything else in those apps stays usable WHAT STAYS FREE • YouTube Shorts + Instagram Reels blocking — free forever, no ads • Optional daily allowance (give yourself 30 minutes, then the block holds) • Math & typing Challenge Lock (make it harder to weaken protection) • On-device stats and streaks PREMIUM (OPTIONAL) • Schedule blocking by hour and day • Wait-timer challenge + BRUTAL math mode • Extra apps (TikTok, Reddit, Facebook Reels, and more) as they ship — some labelled BETA while we harden them • $2.99/month or $19.99/year with a 1-month free trial on yearly • Cancel anytime in Google Play WHY NOT “JUST DELETE THE APP”? Most blockers ban the whole app. That’s blunt. You lose long-form YouTube, messages, and tools you actually use. BlockShorts is surgical: only the addictive feed, the second it opens. PRIVACY • 100% on-device — no servers, no account, no cloud sync • No analytics, no ads, no tracking • Accessibility is used only to detect short-form feeds in apps you enable • Nothing leaves your phone unless you choose Send feedback HONEST LIMITS • Home-feed Shorts preview thumbnails can still animate — YouTube controls that. Tapping into Shorts still gets blocked. • Detectors can break when host apps redesign their UI. Report it in Settings; fixes ship fast (solo indie, no committee). PERMISSIONS • Accessibility (required) — reads on-screen content only for the apps you turn on, only to spot short-form feeds. Revoke anytime in Android Settings → Accessibility. Built by an indie developer who got tired of “delete YouTube” as the only advice. Try free. Keep the apps. Lose the Shorts.
