⭐ 4.7 stars from 45,000+ reviews. Trusted by language learners worldwide. LingQ is the language learning method that gets you fluent — by reading and listening to real content you actually enjoy, not textbook drills or gamified exercises. Learn Spanish, English, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese, Arabic, and 45+ more languages. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📖 THE LINGQ METHOD — WHY IT WORKS ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ LingQ is built on comprehensible input — the science-backed idea that we acquire language the same way we learned our first language: by understanding meaningful content at our level, not memorizing rules. Instead of lessons and drills, you immerse yourself in real stories, podcasts, books, and videos. You encounter words in context, look them up instantly, and naturally absorb the language over time. This is language immersion that actually fits into your life. LingQ was co-founded by Steve Kaufmann, a polyglot who has learned 20+ languages using this exact approach. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🆚 HOW LINGQ IS DIFFERENT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Unlike Duolingo, Babbel, or Rosetta Stone, LingQ doesn't rely on gamification, repetitive drills, or synthetic sentences. Instead: ✅ You learn from REAL content — podcasts, books, YouTube, Netflix ✅ You choose topics you love — sports, history, comedy, true crime ✅ You build vocabulary from context — not flashcard lists ✅ You progress through immersion — not streaks or XP points If you've plateaued with other language learning apps, LingQ is the next step. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✨ FEATURES ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 📚 Massive Content Library Thousands of lessons from podcasts, books, interviews, articles, and more — all with matching text for simultaneous reading and listening. 📥 Import Anything Turn Netflix shows, YouTube videos, podcasts, ebooks, and web articles into interactive lessons.
