On top of the material’s resistance to organic solvents and degreasing agents, it has a low coefficient of friction and high impact resistance so it will last longer with less maintenance.   Polypropylene is a homopolymer which is similar to a copolymer.  The primary difference is that copolymers have a higher impact strength when compared to homopolymers.
