NutriZones uses Variable Rate Fertilization (VRF) prescription maps created by NutriGuide® or TerraZo (Josephinum Research, Wieselburg, AT). Satellite imagery maps and vegetation index (NDVI) are used to break the field into multiple zones that have similar plant growth, which allows for improved nutrient management accuracy. By applying the right rate in the right zone, nutrients are allocated where they will have the best response. This improves crop yield, quality and standability (avoids lodging).
