BloodPressureImporter makes it easy to bring your existing blood pressure logs into Apple Health and see them in context with the rest of your health data. Import CSV files, avoid duplicates, and explore clear, colour‑coded insights – all on your iPhone.
With BloodPressureImporter, you can quickly load CSV files exported from your blood pressure monitor, spreadsheet, or another app. If the file matches the standard template, it’s imported automatically. If not, the app analyses your CSV and lets you map each column to the right field (date, time, systolic, diastolic, pulse, irregular pulse, source). Your mappings are saved and reused, so future imports of the same format are just a couple of taps.
To keep your Apple Health data clean, BloodPressureImporter includes built‑in duplicate detection. The app compares systolic and diastolic values and the time of each reading within a small tolerance window. Readings that are already in Apple Health are flagged as duplicates and locked, so you don’t accidentally upload the same measurement twice.
When you upload, BloodPressureImporter writes blood pressure as Apple’s native blood pressure correlation type, pairing systolic and diastolic readings together just like manual entries in the Health app. If a heart rate is available, it’s added as a separate quantity sample. All uploads are marked as user‑entered and tagged with the device or source name from your CSV, so you can see where each reading came from.
Beyond importing, the app can read your recent blood pressure and heart rate data from Apple Health. You can review your readings in a simple, scrollable history and see how your values change over time. A separate insights view uses colour‑coded zones based on recognised blood pressure classification guidelines, helping you understand whether your readings are normal, elevated, or high at a glance.
For flexibility, BloodPressureImporter supports custom date ranges in its history and insights views. You can focus on a particular week, month, or any other time period to spot trends, compare before‑and‑after changes, or review the impact of lifestyle or treatment adjustments.
A dedicated import screen brings everything together. From there you can download a ready‑made CSV template, map new CSV formats, preview how rows will be interpreted, and choose exactly which readings to upload. Upload attempts are tracked so you can see which readings were added, skipped as duplicates, or failed with an error.
BloodPressureImporter is designed to be privacy‑friendly. All processing happens on your device, and your health data stays in Apple Health under your control. You can grant or revoke permissions at any time, and a simple settings screen shows the current status for systolic, diastolic, and heart rate, along with the app version and basic information.
Whether you are migrating from another blood pressure app, consolidating readings from a home monitor, or just want more control over what ends up in Apple Health, BloodPressureImporter helps you import, clean, and understand your blood pressure data with confidence.
