Analyse de l'application Modesmith Minimal Launcher pour le 1 novembre

Modesmith is a minimalist Android launcher that adapts your Home screen to your day. Keep relevant apps in Now, everyday essentials in Always, and everything else a quick search away. Modes that fit your day • Create Home, Work, Focus, Travel or Guest modes with their own apps and style. • Switch manually or schedule modes by time, day and priority, including overnight. • Combine up to three Smart Trigger conditions: charging, connected audio, paired Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, calendar events, location areas, battery, Battery Saver, sound/Do Not Disturb, airplane mode, work apps or media playback. • Keep essential Always apps across modes and return automatically to schedules. Fast app access and privacy controls • Search apps, Android app shortcuts, launcher settings and actions, with optional local Contact Search. • Use the A–Z drawer, recents, locally learned ordering and available work-profile apps. • Hide or unhide apps from their app menu, with Undo. Optionally find hidden apps through typed Search while keeping them out of Home and All Apps. Guest Mode keeps them hidden. • Compact app menus keep actions within reach. • Guest Mode can protect settings with Android device credentials and optionally dismiss notifications from hidden apps. Your Home, your style Customize clocks, colours, fonts, icons, icon packs, wallpapers, gestures, badges and layouts. Add Android widgets or Modesmith Notes, Checklist and other widgets to Home or Widget Board. Smart Pills show alarms, calendar events, devices, media, battery, timers, weather and actions. Export a JSON backup to a location you choose and see your last successful export. Follow the system language or choose English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese or Spanish. Optional weather See temperature and conditions in your clock or a bottom Smart Pill. Tap for a compact popup with your city and available forecasts over the next six hours. The full Widget Board weather widget adds details and up to five days of forecasts in three-hour steps. Use Celsius or Fahrenheit and colourful condition icons. All weather displays share one location, cache and refreshes. Weather is off by default and asks for consent. Choose a city without location permission, or allow foreground approximate location. City searches and rounded coordinates go through Modesmith’s Cloudflare service to OpenWeather; Cloudflare also processes your IP address. Disable weather or clear its local data in Settings → Weather. Privacy and optional access Core launcher features work offline; weather needs internet to update, and Google Play handles purchases and updates. No ads, analytics SDKs, third-party crash-reporting SDKs, user accounts or cloud sync. Launcher settings and learning stay local. Optional permissions support only features you enable: contacts, calendars, paired devices, notifications, media controls and flashlight. Location Smart Triggers and Wi-Fi matching run locally while Modesmith is visible; their location data is not uploaded. Weather separately sends only approximate location after consent. No background-location permission. Accessibility Service API disclosure Modesmith’s optional Accessibility Service performs user-selected actions such as locking the screen or opening notifications or Quick Settings from gestures, dock or search. Modesmith is a launcher, not an accessibility tool. The service cannot retrieve window content and does not read screens, collect text, monitor apps, capture passwords or collect/share personal data. An in-app disclosure explains access before Android Accessibility settings opens. Normal launcher use does not require it; disable it anytime in Android settings. Basic and Pro Basic remains usable. Pro unlocks higher limits and advanced features; full Widget Board weather requires Trial or Pro. Clock weather, its popup and the weather pill are available to every tier. Purchases and restoration use Google Play Billing.
